Time Capsule Ceremony at The Drexel Town Square
A time capsule was buried near the new Library at the Drexel Town Square development on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at a ceremony officiated by Mayor Steve Scaffidi. Our Society, in particular: Nancy Honadel and Diane Schumacher, played a major role as members of the time capsule committee led by City Clerk Catherine Roeske.
Items in the time capsule were included from many local businesses and organizations such as: photographs, essays written by local children, commemorative coins, historical information including a copy of the city's charter, newspapers and school yearbooks.
