Oak Creek's  history dates back to the 1830's as the Town of Oak Creek, consisting of modern day Oak Creek and South Milwaukee.  Our outdoor museum is open to the public on Sunday summer afternoons.  We also maintain an archive of Oak Creek history and provide assistance to individuals doing genealogical research.

Oak Creek's Newest Historical Monument

Anyone traveling near the corner of 13th Street and Ryan Road in Oak Creek will no doubt notice the huge Amazon Fulfillment Center building that is the centerpiece of the new Ryan Business Park.  Closer inspection will also reveal a recently erected historical marker that documents the history of the site.
